Beautiful location close to great hikes and a short ferrata. Cakes are nice and the artisanal beer selection is top-notch, including some of the best local producers. We did not try any other food, but the menu of the day was very appealing. Everything has a very reasonable price.
What a beautiful location immersed in nature, greenery and mountains. Only good vibes at this place. The food is good, mostly done with local produce, especially the lip smacking brownie and cakes. If you want to have alcohol, I would recommend artisanal beer. This place is very economical. The restaurant is guarded by two lovely dogs, a chocolate lab. The place is clean, well sanitised. The staff are friendly, but usually busy and slow in case of heavy traffic. You can also stay overnight here. Reservation is highly recommended also for restaurant. Overall a good experience and lovely place.
this is a great wee place, i have come here many a time throughout the years as a young child. food was great and view was amazing. will come back some time.

Really friendly staff
We stayed at the Forte dei Marmi refuge during the CAI Tuscany Regional Junior Camp. The refuge is well managed, clean and the food is very good. Its position makes it an excellent base for the most varied activities such as via ferratas, excursions and climbing on the cliffs and in the mountains. Absolutely recommended!
Today we arrived at the refuge after having booked several days ago, they made us sit at a table in the sun, given the hot day, we pointed this out and they replied that at 1.30pm, the booking time, there would be the shadow that instead arrived at the table at 3.40pm, when we finished lunch we waited more than 40 minutes. just to order, and they didn't even bring the requested aperitifs.... the food was good, the wait was too long.
Beautiful view and strategic position. Friendly staff, excellent food and modest prices (12 euros for a first course or 3 euros for a glass of red wine). We had a great time and will be back!
